With a rich educational foundation and extensive experience in vocal pedagogy, Clarice brings a unique perspective and skillset to her work as a speech-langauge pathologist. Her academic journey began with multiple degrees focused on voice and vocal pedagogy, which equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities of vocal production, teaching, and the intricate emotional relationship one has with their voice. Over the years, she has had the privilege of guiding singing students of all ages, from young learners to collegiate-level performers and beyond, in refining their vocal techniques, achieving their artistic goals, and telling their authentic stories through the art of singing.
Clarice's shift into the field of speech-language pathology has allowed her to channel her expertise into working with individuals who navigate life while facing the challenges that come with having a communication difference. More specifically, Clarice has focused on working with individuals who stutter and clutter, providing therapy that is diversity-affirming, focuses on the emotional effects of communication differences, and gives people the tools to say what they want to say, when they want to say it, while navigating a multitude of communicative environments.
Today, Clarice is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapy to support and empower clients of all ages with a variety of communication needs, differences, and disorders. Clarice is licensed in the state of North Carolina and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
